Gaudyklė įrengta 1982 m. ant Kuršių marių kranto nendryne su retais krūmais ir skirta daugiau gaudyti nendrynų paukščiams (nendrinukėms, krakšlėms, nendrinėms startoms, remėzoms), o migracijų metu ir kitiems smulkiems žvirbliniams paukščiams. Gaudyklės ilgis 76 m., plotis 10 m., aukštis 5-6 m. Kamerų skaičius – 8 (4 kameros nukreiptos gaudyti paukščiams, skrendantiems pietvakarių kryptimi ir 4 –šiaurės rytų kryptimi)

The trap was installed in 1982 on the reedy banks of the Curonian Lagoon, among the rare shrubs found here. It has been designed to capture mostly birds preferring reed-rich areas (Acrocephalus warblers, Common Reed Buntings), and other passerines birds during the migratory period. The trap is 75 m. long and 10 m. wide, 5-6 m. high, and has 8 chambers (4 to capture bird flying in a SW direction, and the other 4 to capture birds flying in a NE direction)

Gaudyklė įrengta 1983 m. ant Kuršių marių kranto prie administracinio ornitologinės stoties pastato ir skirta gaudyti atvirų vietų paukščiams – kregždėms, varnėnams, kielėms, o migracijų metų ir kitiems smulkiems žvirbliniams paukščiams. Gaudyklės ilgis 40 m., plotis 11 m., aukštis 6 m. Kamerų skaičius – 5 (trys kameros nukreiptos gaudyti paukščiams skrendantiems pietvakarių kryptimi ir dvi – šiaurės rytų kryptimi)

This trap was installed in 1983 on an open stretch of the Curonian Lagoon shoreline, near the Ornithological Station building. It has been designed to capture birds favouring open areas (Swallows, Starlings and Wagtails), and others passerines birds during the migratory period. The trap is 40 m. long, 11 m. wide, 6 m. hight, and has 5 chambers (3 to capture birds flying in a SW direction and 2 – in a NE direction)

Gaudyklė įrengta 1984 m. ant Kuršių marių kranto drėgnuose krūmynuose su didesnių medžių guotais ir skirta daugiau gaudyti miško paukščiams – liepsnelėms, karetaitėms, pečialindoms, devynbalsėms, zylėms ir kitiems paukščiams. Gaudyklės ilgis 100 m., plotis 10 m., aukštis 6 m. Kamerų skaičius 11 (6 kameros nukreiptos gaudyti paukščiams skrendantiems pietvakarių kryptimi ir 5 – šiaurės rytų kryptimi.

This trap was installed in 1984 on the dump shrub zones on the shores of the Curonian Lagoon with large cluster of trees and is designed to capture forest birds (european Robin, Winter Wren, Whitethroats, Phylloscopus and Sylvia warblers, Tits and so on, while during the migratory period it is also used to capture other small passerine birds. The trap is 100 m. long, 10 m. wide, 6 m. high, and has 11 chambers (6 are directed towards capturung birds flying in a SW direction, and five are oriented towards the NE)

Gaudyklė įrengta 1996 m. sausesnėje vietoje, apaugusioje daugiausia erškėčiais, šeivamedžiais, ievomis ir kitais krūmokšniais bei skirta gaudyti miško ir krūmynų paukščiams – liepsnelėms, erškėtžvirbliams, karetaitėms, nykštukams, pečialindoms, devynbalsėms ir kt. gaudyklės ilgis 25 m., plotis 10 m. aukštis 6 m. kamerų skaičius – 4 (dvi nukreiptos šiaurės vakarų ir dvi pietryčių kryptimi)

This trap was installed in 1996 in a dry area overgeown predominntly with brier, elders, bird cherry and wrens, for capturing European Robins, Winter Wrens, Whitethroats, Warblers, Tits and other birds prefering forests and shrubs, with other passerines birds also captured during migratory period. The trap is 25 m. long, 10 m. wide and 6 m. high, with 4 chambers (2 chambers are turned towards a NW direction and two – in a SE direction)

Gaudyklė įrengta 1996 m. ant marių kranto prie švyturio. Gaudyklės viduje paukščiams privilioti auga šermukšnis. Šia gaudykle daugiausia gaudoma vasarą migruojantys varnėnai, o rudenį pučiant stipresniam pietų vėjui ir įvairių rūšių zylės. Su šia gaudykle paukščiai Ventės rage gaudomi ištisus metus. Jos ilgis 20 m., plotis 11 m., aukštis 6 m

THE SMALL TRAP No.2

This trap was installed in 1996 on the shores of the Curonian Lagoon near the lighthouse. Birds are attracted by the rowan bush growing within the trap, which is used mostly for capturing Starlings migrating in summer, and different tit species in autumn when there is a stronger southerly wind. Small trap no.2 is used to capture birds all year round, with Eurasian Buffinchs, Bohemian Waxwings, Fieldfares and other wintering birds being captured in winter. These is one chamber designed to capture birds lying in a SW direction. The trap is 11 m. wide, 6 m. high and 20 m. long.

Gaudyklė įrengta 1978 m. pietrytinėje Ventės Rago dalyje ant marių kranto. Priekinėje gaudyklės dalyje auga nedideli medžiai bei krūmai, yra iškastas nedidelis vandens telkinys. Šia gaudykle paukščiai dažniausiai gaudomi nuo rugpjūčio pabaigos iki lapkričio vidurio. Dažniausiai pagaunama įvairių rūšių zylės, alksninukai, kikiliai. Gaudyklė turi viena paukščių surinkimo kamerą. Gaudyklės stulpų aukštis  – iki 25 metrų. Gaudyklės plotis – 69 m., ilgis 113 m.Tai yra didžiausia paukščių gaudyklė pasaulyje

This trap was installed in 1978 in the southeast corner of Ventės Ragas on the shores of the Curonian Lagoon. Small trees and shrubs grow around the front of the trap where there is also a smal dam. This trap is mainly used to capture birds from late August to the middle of November, predominantly varios Tits  species, Eurasian Siskins and Common Chaffinchs. Other birds species are not trapped in this type of trapped that often. This single-chambered traped is used to capture birds flying in a SW direction. The trap poles are up to 25 m. hight, while the trap itself is 69 m. wide and 113 m. long, making in the largest bird trap in the world.
